Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name given to Winona Laura Hoowitz. She was who was born within Winona Minnesota. She was named by her parents in honor of the town where she was raised as a child. Michel Horowitz' father was an editor and writer and editor, as was Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder's dad was born into a Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are Ryder's half-siblings. Ryder's family relocated to Mendocino County in California at the age of 7 years old. They didn't have electricity. Ryder became an avid read because they had television. At the age of 12 years old, Ryder joined the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Lucas, a 1986 film that she was in, was her debut major character. Ryder was only 15 when she got it. Ryder was bullied throughout high school. Her acting career, she hoped to help, could have helped her. However, it didn't happen. However, she kept working towards her goals. In 1988, she got her biggest break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue her successful roles in many movies. In 1993, she was awarded an Oscar Prize to be awarded for The Age of Innocence.
