Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 into the musically inclined family of Newark New Jersey is the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. They are also cousins of singer Dionne Warwick. She began singing in the choir of her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark when she was a child and by the age of fifteen, she was singing back vocals professionally with the mother of her on Chaka Khan's hit song from 1978 Im Every Woman. After that, she began to join the backing vocals of Lou Rawls, Jermaine, as well as her mom. In 1981, she began working as a singer with the New York-based funk group Material. However, the 1992 movie The Bodyguard sealed her spot in the top 20 most-sellers of all-time. The Bodyguard's performance as a film and its soundtrack were not well-received but her Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You and the album accompanying it were top of the charts all over the world for several months. That same year she married the former New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she has a single child Bobbi Kristina Brown. She was born in the month of March 1993. In 1996 her daily drug usage was well documented.
Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorwoman for news and reporting as well as political correspondent for CNN. Her programs on Saturdays include Evans & Novak Late Edition, Inside Politics and Inside Politics. Bash has been awarded numerous awards and honors. Elle magazine once listed her in the Women in Washington Power List. Known to possess incredible anchoring/reporting skills she is admired by young journalists in the industry.
